Support urls for channel icons on the local file system, i.e. file:/usr/share/doc/tvheadend/icons/channel_x.png

Using a local filesystem location formchannel icon URL's might be a good idea. However the consequences for both the webgui and also for htsp are a bit more complex. What needs to happen with local icons is that these needs to be exported via either htps or http in such a way that a client can access those icons.

So that would require some more detailed design to implement this correctly. That is the reason I moved this to version 3.0

I think we can solve this without updating HTSP, I'll assign this to myself might be a simple thing to do and distract myself when I get bored with other stuff.
