Description
Hi.
My provider stopped providing OTA EPG on SD channels and continues these only on HD channels.
I am looking for a way to copy HD channel OTA EPG into SD channel EPG.
Is that possible? Would it be accepted as future enhancement to tvheadend??
Kind regards,
Chris

I added possibility to reuse EPG from another channel. Select the channel you want to add EPG - click on Edit and select the 'parent' channel. v4.1-781-g3ba8ec1

Jaroslav.
Small regression.
I have two channels XYZ and XYZ HD. Now XYZ did not have EPG so it was set to copy from XYZ HD.
EPG is nicely shown on XYZ however now XYZ shows as XYZ HD in the EPG. If there is now Auto DVR set for XYZ (not HD), it does not find any programs, as all programs are shown as XYZ HD.
So i think that channel name needs to be patched when copying EPG between channels.

Sometimes "small regression" means "big rewrite" . Fixed in v4.1-786-g4c54e63 .

Seems ok now. Will perform more testing this week (my platform is Linux). I am having strange busy loops on tvheadend recently. Will try to identify where it is coming from and will then report it in separate bug report.
Thanks!

The EIT mutex deadlock should be fixed now.
