TVHeadend - Add DVB Network by Location
Added by Chris McCarney about 12 years ago
Hi All,
I am a big time noob to TVHeadend and am having a world of trouble tuning channels in.
When i go to:
Configuration > TV Adapters
I Can see my HDhomerun, however when i click Add DVB Network By Location the window that opens only has a folder for the US. I am in Melbourne Australia and would be forever thankful if someone could advise me how to get the Australian Networks Folder???
Thanks in advance to everyone for helping me out with this!
Chris

Sure, is that the entire .hts folder?

Yeah that's easiest. Remove stuff if you have concerns, accesscontrol etc.. But I doubt there is anything too sensitive in there.
I'd guess main thing to get will be all the dvb* folders, that way I can replicate your setup.
Best bet is to mail to me directly, email on my profile.

quick suggestion:
Are you sure your hdhomerun is configured as dvb and not as atsc?
You need to make sure your /etc/dvbhdhomerun configuration file is set to the correct adapter type.

See section about "Configure for DVB-T"

Yeah, they are configured for DVB-T the tuners are actually working, because i have managed to set up MythTV and get it working perfectly, however the Myth TV addon for XBMC PVR is not working on the XBMC build i am using, so would prefer to use TVHeadend as i know it works with my build.
Thanks anyway!

Solved guys, this one was user error as always...

Chris glad to hear you've solved it As I'd not had a chance to look at the config.
Presumably you don't need my input any more?
