if you are using rsyslogd then you could add:
:syslogtag, startswith, "tvheadend" -/var/log/whatever.log
& ~

nope. in ...src/tvheadend/ git clean -dxf and then git pull. dunno about autobuild, never used that. i use configure.... alf alfonsius
