you can play back a recording and you get a URL of the form
if you play a live stream you can use persistent auth with a URL like this:
but you can't play a recording using the persistent auth, i.e. this doesn't work:
this is with 4.3-1855~gd453f5b~xenial
I can't choose that version on this bug report form
