Description
atsc epg not working in 4.1-812 I unchecked all modules except for psip. Also some of the channels fails to map.
I just installed the latest version myself today to test it. The atsc-epg module is the only one ticked as I unticked all of the others. After mapping the channels, I noticed there are no EPG Grabber Channels listed. I killed tvheadend and restarted several times but no change. I have been using Lauri Mylläris version for some time so I am familiar with it, however the interface has changed a bit in this version. The status tab shows that the epg is working but no epg data shows up. Since the change to version 4.0, some of the channels fail to map but they do not fail in older versions. This version is even worse as I spent about an hour manually adding them. Nice to see atsc-epg added to mainstream even though it does not work yet.
Could you try version v4.1-756-g3153614 - hash 315361427723aab0c94d8a77094a7dc589e6e55f . If this does not work, v4.1-724-gc08bf56 - hash c08bf56380943a93a24045a6e0249c04890b34fa ?

Applied in changeset commit:tvheadend|18d993fa338d256f23a118246321116b5e32acb5.
Thanks. I think that I found the bug in code. Could you retest with latest ? v4.1-822-g18d993f
I believe v4.1-822-g18d993f fixed the atsc epg problem! The epg data started to populate immediately upon startup this time. I was able to use it like I normally could. The "EPG Grabber Channels" was still empty however. They must be for something else.
Thank you so much for fixing this!
Steve
"EPG Grabber Channels" is for channel mapping for other sources (XMLTV, PyEPG). It should be empty for OTA EPG.
