Description

Hello,

I still get Too many open files with the FireDTV running TVHeadend 3.4, also tested beta 3.5 and unstable 3.9, still get the error Too many open files. I tried all posible ways, the setup is working under Windows but i want to use Linux/TVHeadend.

Does someone get this card running (DVB-C)?

This is not a problem with tvheadend, it's the tuner. In any case this report is a duplicate.

Not going to look at this, as Jalle says, really its a hardware limitation. Some stuff has been done in the past to try and mitigate the problem and reduce the number of opened PIDs, but really it just gets painful when almost all tuners these days are fine.
