EPG: Use numeric day instead of "Monday"

Description
If I search for a EPG entry to record, I'd prefer having numeric days instead of day-of-week.
E.g. TVBrowser currently does display four "Friday" entries.

I'm not really sure what's being asked for here? What does it matter if you get Monday or 1? If you mean a specific "date" then why wouldn't you just use the EPG to select what to record? The day of week feature is meant for repeat recording of things, so day of week makes sense (most of the time).

I'm searching in the EPG for e.g. February 13 in order to record a specific broadcast I found in TVBrowser. It's a Thursday. In order to know if I'm in the right block of Thursdays, I have to look at the calendar and the position of the scrollbar.
If I had a column saying e.g. "T 13.02. 08:15" or "W 12.02. 08:15", it would be much easier to find what I'm looking for (or that it's not yet in the EPG).
(You can have both columns and hide one of them.)

OK, I misunderstood. Yes that probably would be better as a standard date format.
Though in reality the effect is minimal. Search for required title (filter by channel if you know that). You'll end up with a handful or entries, pick the appropriate one. If there are many, does it really matter which? and its usually fairly easy to figure out which Thursday is which.
