Timeshift With XMBC Frodo: Rewind doesn't recover after invocation

Description
When watching live TV and selecting rewind, tv rewinds for about a second before freezing.
The only way to recover is to exit Live TV and start again.
It is currently not possible to rewind to an arbitrary point, stop rewinding, and resume playback from that point.

Is this the same with XBMC 13? AFAIK, it should be better in Gotham.

Most issues have been tracked down to bugs in pvr.hts, we've fixed these in pvr.tvh (not currently upstream). One bug does exist in TVH (to do with buffer sizes, workaround present in pvr.tvh) that has only recently made it into master.
Still some minor anomalies to be investigated I think, but mostly working OK now.
