[FIXED]Timeshift stops writing buffers when you hit play.
Added by Ron L almost 12 years ago
Heya, anyone having issues with timeshift past couple days? I hit pause and it starts writing to buffer but when I hit play again it stops writing to buffer. It'll play for a short bit and then stop. The last frame of the video gets stuck on the screen and then I start getting hts disconnected errors. XBMC will close if you are patient. TVheadend requires a kill -9. Not much in the log....
./tvheadend: version 3.3.448~ga0e5b07
XBMC Media Center 12.0 Git:fb595f2
pvr.hts at commit b51b6ff4e1a3b68ba08749594dcb6cc09044a542
Enable = yes
On Demand= yes
Storage path I've tried to HD and to /run/shm
Max Period and Size left at default settings.
Had been working pretty well previously.

Hmmm, possibly a bug in the on-demand stuff. I never use that myself, so I might have cocked it up with recent fixes.
Submit a bug report and I'll take a look.

OK, works fine if I turn on-demand off. I just set that so it's not writing to the drive all the time. I should probably just leave it pointed to /run/shm and let it do it's thing all the time.
Thanks.
