New user, XMLTV assignment confusion

Hi,

Just installed tvheadend and managed to get streaming working ok.

Moved onto trying to implement xmltv functionality and hit a stumbling block.

Enabled the xmltv UK module, but when I goto the grabber part, there's no where to select the enabled module.

When I goto the channel list, and want to add the xmltv as an epg source, I have none in the drop down.

I'm presuming this is because of the module not being selected, so hoping once that's sorted, I'll be ok.

Would be grateful for any tips.

External grabbers must be configured outside of Tvheadend. That's why they're called "external" grabbers. You need to drop to the command line, run your grabber as the user that Tvheadend runs as (usually with the --configure flag), and get it setup up that way. Then, when Tvheadend runs the grabber it will know what to do.
