there is any difference in video quality between ubuntu desktop and ubuntu server?
Im asking because i use TVH in Ubuntu server and play with kodi. Kodi show sometimes lines in the screen in all the channels.

Not inherently, although they both depend on what packages you have installed, such as whether you're using proprietary GPU drivers or Nouveau/open source ones. But they're basically the same.

If you're getting lines - and I presume Kodi is on a different system, as Ubuntu Server doesn't have a GUI - then you've got some debugging to do to isolate client, recording vs live, deinterlace settings, etc.

Any player has better image in channels. In kodi for windows i just turn on deinterlace and the image looks good, but Kodi for ubuntu the image looks bad. Video options make no difference in the image.
