HDHomerun as Sat>ip for Panasonic TV?

Added by g gebruikerh about 9 years ago

Hi All,

I hope you can help me out here. I have bought a new Panasonic lcd tv with the possibility of using Sat>IP.

And now I’m trying to let my HDHomerun work as DVB-C over SAT>IP. I have already everything configured as far as I know out of the territorial but and my tv sees the tuner but can not find any channels at all…I must do something wrong but I don’t have any idea what.

I also configured it for several kodi (raspberry pi) devices and there it works perfectly. But I like to use the sat>ip on my Panasonic as it more easy for the wife than using my dreambox and can with one device less..

I hope you all can help me with I’m doing wrong here.

Try setting the RTSP port to 554. Your TV might only support that port, as it is standard for Sat>IP.

Hi Andreas,

Thanks for the reply tried both ports also 554 and that one also didn't work :-(.

although this is an old thread, maybe it helps (somebody):

did you run tvheadend as root? Else setting SatIP port to 554 won't have an effect, and it will default back to 9981. Also, was tvheadend killed while you tried to search for channels? It's interesting to me that the TV saw the server even with port 9981 activated...
