Nightlies are temporarily here (thanks to Nihil): https://nihil.selfhost.eu/tvheadend/

It'll all settle down in time... honest... ;)

Hello!

Can you please clarify if that was done by a cross-compile, on x86 host? And instructions for doing that?

We are looking for recent cross-compile example.

No cross-compile, i'm building on my pi2...and it works again.

OK.

We are interested in any maintainer(s) who wishes to set up the following:

ARM builds for Rpi2, Odroid-C1, etc

I'm sorry, but just building for myself, too less linux skills to get cross compile working ;)

Sure it's pretty tough. In meantimes Nihil we really appreciate your native compiled builds. They are very beneficial for this community. Many thanks.

Hello,

Thank's for all of this, but how to install Nihil's build on a RPI?

Seems that some dependancies aren't completely meet...

Big

If you install it with dpkg -i tvheadend-xxx, look at the screen, there you can see which dependencys.
For me at least there was liburiparser-dev, libhdhomerun-dev and ffmpeg which i had to install. Its compiled with --enable-libffmpeg_static. I installed ffmpeg from deb-multimedia repo, but if you are using debian wheezy maybe that didnt work, cause that ffmpeg version is too old(i'm on jessie with my babanapro and compiling with pi2 on jessie, too). If so, you have to compile it yourself, which is a bit tricky.

Yes, I'm on a RPI B, with Jessie installed.
For hdhomerun, i installed it, no problem.

But for some of them like liburiparser, i have a 6.01.XXX version and a 10.X.x.x is needed.

The install don't finish properly, even if I can launch it, manually only (it doesn't start on boot).
But I have some segment fault causing TVH beien aborted.

That's why my question! :)

Strange, on jessie i just did apt-get install liburiparser-dev and got the right version (0.8.0.1-2, nothing with 10.xx..)
What you mean is the ffmpeg package, but as i said, you have to set deb-multimedia.org (instructions on that page, dont forget to add keyfile as described there)as additional repo in your sources.lst, apt-get update and then install ffmpeg, its 10.xx version you need.

Its on the page, first need to apt-get install deb-multimedia-keyring after you set that repo and did apt-get update....
