Adapter into StandBy

Folks,

Can the TV tuner adapter be put into some type of 'standby' mode?

Just wondering if the tuner is effectively 'Always On' when enabled in TVHeadend.

Under Configuration -> DVB Inputs -> TV Adapters you'll find a Power Save option. This should shut down the adapter when idle, although it depends on your hardware what happens next and how easily it wakes back up again.
