Tvheadend

No advice but I dicovered the same problem yesterday evening. Some of my recordings are failing on "Canvas HD" and I discoffered that NPO1, NPO3 and Veronica faild to watch. After restart of the computer all was fine.

I'm running version 3.9.2479 on 64 bit Debian testing

This morning, I updated to tvheadend 3.9.2479, and set up some BBC4 HD recordings. BBC4 only starts broadcasting at 19:00 GMT so its too early for a full test, however the first programme I set to record worked fine. Below is the log, and there are a couple of oddities in it (and I dont have the expertise to know if they are important), firstly there is still a continuity counter error (but just one -- not the hundreds I saw in the previous example) and the is the unsupported PAT format.

Any ideas?

last night, all 4 recordings on BBC4 HD worked perfectly with 3.9.2379

FWIW, I'm running 3.9.2427~gcde875e on 'buntu 14.04 and haven't noticed any corruptions in BBC Four HD.

It might be the version of the software you're running... or it might be atmospherics genuinely corrupting the satellite signal? Difficult to tell without saturation testing. You appear to be getting the errors in several of the elementary streams (MP2, AC3, dvbsub...).

Happy to test record something if you'd like a comparison...?
