Add DVB Network by location incorrect data
Added by Gary McRae over 13 years ago
Hi,
When I Add DVB Network by location for Australia Canberra-Black-Mt the frequency for ABC is set to 205.5 MHz.
It should be 205.625 MHz [[http://www2b.abc.net.au/reception/frequencyfinder/asp/details.asp?transmissionid=875]]
It is not possible to receive the ABC channels.
Is there a way to change this or do I need to report a bug and wait for a version update?
My current version is HTS Tvheadend 2.12 Debian Squeeze
The Mux appears but with the wrong frequencey. All other channels work perfectly. Here is a log sample:

RE: Add DVB Network by location incorrect data - Added by Hein Rigolo over 13 years ago
The frequencies are taken from the initial tuning files that are part of the dvb-apps tools. These initial tuning files are converted into code that is included into the tvheadend binary.
If the data in the initial tuning files is no longer correct, you should send a request to the linux-media mailing list (see linuxtv.org for details).
However there has been a change in the way dvb-t frequencies are maintained and people are moving away from country/city location specific initial tuning files to a single generic initial tuning file with all possible valid DVB-T frequencies. In the latest versions of tvheadend they can be found under country "Generic". For more detail see ticket #570.
An other option is of course to manually add the required mux. See the manual how to do that.
