disable dvr log retention

hi,

is there a way to disable DVR log retention? I'm running tvh on a router, and want to save the erase cycles of the flash :). anyway, I don;t need those logs at all. I tried putting 0 days, but it requires at least 1 :(.

Do you have enough RAM to save them to a ramdisk? Or wherever you're saving the recordings - an NFS mount, I presume?

yes, I have an USB disk, but unfortunately not always available. it would have been easier to disable them, so don't have to care about .... thanks.
