Added by Nitaro Frost over 10 years ago

Hi,

i´m running 3.9.470~g6482d33 on Ubuntu 13.10 with 2 DVBSky S960 DVS-S2, this works fine.

After update to v3.9.542 XBMC says "No free adapter".

Here are the log entries:

I'd be guessing at a commit between those two versions that breaks your system. You could try finding the commit by installing versions between 470 and 542; you could try moving to a later version and see if that fixes things.

If neither of those works then I'd switch on debugging and see if tvheadend tells you any more. You could try deleting your channel config and see if setting it up again makes a difference. You could also test to make sure that it is tvheadend that's failing (not the XBMC connection): can you record or stream directly to VLC, for example.

Thanks for your replay.

I wanted to know what has changed between this versions und how i can fix it.
Didn´t want to setup the whole channel config again, but i know, it´s an unstable version
and i have to live with the risk of fundamental changes ;-).

Now i have installed the latest version on a fresh Ubuntu 14.04 LTS Server and it looks fine but...

...the webinterface shows my mapped channels correct (Configuration->Channel/EPG-> Name and Service)with its
channelname eg. RTL,N24,etc. XBMC Frodo 12.3 with the PVR TvHeadend Add-on displays some Channels only as Channel10233 for example and not by its "name".

Any idea where did this come from ?

Edit: Sorry, my mistake. Its only take a time. Now everything is ok.

Thanks a lot !
