No DVB-S channels since updating

Added by Ben Howard almost 11 years ago

Hi,

I was running an older version of the unstable branch from around xmas time and DVB-S channels worked fine until last night when I thought it would be a good idea to update.

I'm now running Build: 3.9.373~g55c2bbb~precise

DVB-T channels work fine but my DVB-S tuner would only show a broken green screen (looked like it wasn't tuned properly) so I've been trying to re-tune but all I keep getting is:

"initial scan no data, failed"

A sample entry from my log file looks like the below for all frequencies:

Jan 26 10:16:27 TVServer tvheadend4061: mpegts: 11817V - tuning on Conexant CX24116/CX24118 : DVB-S #0
Jan 26 10:16:27 TVServer tvheadend4061: subscription: 'initscan' subscribing to mux, weight: 2, adapter: 'Conexant CX24116/CX24118 : DVB-S #0', network: 'Freesat', mux: '11817V'
Jan 26 10:16:37 TVServer tvheadend4061: mpegts: 11817V - initial scan no data, failed
Jan 26 10:16:37 TVServer tvheadend4061: subscription: "initscan" unsubscribing

Any ideas?

Thanks

Ben

Adapter config was changed recently to add better dynamic tuner support. Unfortunately this me necessitated a change that broke existing satconfs. You need to reconfigure your satconf.

Assuming this is just a simple universal lnb setup, just select each lnb entry (1 per tuner) and select the dvb-s network.

Think I've already tried that....

Configuration > DVB Inputs > Networks > Edit > Pre-defined Muxes: Astra 28.2 > Save
