Kabel Deutschland in DVB Networks
Added by Stephan Oelze almost 12 years ago
Hi Forum!
I am Missing my Kabel Provider in DVB Locations?
Its the biggest provider in Germany.
There is none in Tvheaden 3.2.18.
Any ideas how to solve?
Stephan

You need to find a configuration file (or create one) that contains the list of available multiplexes and then drop into relevant location on your system.
This can actually be one of 2 places:
/usr/share/dvb/dvb-c <- check if its already there your system might have up to date files?
/usr/share/tvheadend/data/dvbscan/dvb-c
If you stick it in the first location you will need to go to the UI and edit Configuration->General->DVB Scan path and set to /usr/share/dvb

Thanks for your reply!
Is there a way to generate one with w_scan?
And where do i have to submit it then for user to come after me?

I believe those files are the format that w_scan generates. You need to submit to linuxtv, we simply fetch our files from there.

There is no forum @linuxtv.org. And i really hate Mailinglists.
So here you are with the configfile whats needed.
I followed the syntax all the other files are at.
