TV Headend 2.12 + XBMC + TT 1600 or VLC no Video no Audio

Added by Ronald Bodinger about 13 years ago

Hello to all !

And thank you Andreas for the wonderful Product, your software is a blessing !

Sadly i am running into a very strange Problem.

Everything in the setup phase worked perfectly.. Muxes were found, Channels were added and even CWC is working...

But here's the big BUT...

If i start a HTTP Stream via Browser i get no Video nor Audio, same in Xbmc.. or even if i paste it directly into VLC.

I pasted the channel zap event from my syslog:

Sep 19 19:48:14 MythServer tvheadend2122: subscription: "HTTP" direct subscription to adapter: "STV090x Multistandard"$
Sep 19 19:48:58 MythServer tvheadend2122: subscription: "HTTP" unsubscribing
Sep 19 19:49:00 MythServer tvheadend2122: subscription: "HTTP" direct subscription to adapter: "STV090x Multistandard"$
Sep 19 19:49:35 MythServer tvheadend2122: subscription: "HTTP" unsubscribing
Sep 19 19:50:14 MythServer tvheadend2122: HTTP: 192.168.1.88: /stream/service/_dev_dvb_adapter0_STV090x_Multistandard1$
Sep 19 19:50:18 MythServer tvheadend2122: subscription: "HTTP" direct subscription to adapter: "STV090x Multistandard"$

The really strange thing is, if i record something it won't playback either. But if i download the MKV and play it locally it works.

Can somebody help me out.

My System is based on Ubuntu Natty X64, 4gb Ram, AMD X2 4400 Dual Core , TT DVB-S2 1600 TV Card.

Cheers

what version of tvheadend? 2.12 or latest GIT?
for XBMC you can use the HTSP option.

HTTP and RTP streaming form tvheadend is not very "robust" as far as I know.

Hello Hein !

I tried the 2.12 and the latest GIT Version.

With XMBC.. i am using HTSP ! (Openelec latest stable)
Aswell on my Ubuntu Workstation with XBMC Dharma.. same issue..

Only used HTTP for Browser Plugin via VLC / and VLC directly.

From my XBMC Log:

first try to switch to the xbmc packages that are published by lars op den Kamp. He is producing some ubuntu packages with that latest versions of xmbc pvr and tvheadend.
