Tvheadend does not save configuration at reboot
Added by ma pomme about 9 years ago
Hello,
I have installed and configurated Tvheadend 3.5 on my Raspberry Pi 2
I use Raspbian OS and a DVB-T Usb stick : AverTV Volar Black HD
It works but when I reboot the Raspberry Pi 2, the configuration is lost
and I have to do it all again.
Any ideas are welcome!

tvh 3.5 is old and there's no new development going into it - 4.0.x is the current stable, so I'd suggest you upgrade to that before trying anything else.
However, immediate reaction would be to check where the config is stored and the permissions to it for the UID of the tvh process... also, watch carefully as tvh starts just to make sure there isn't some broken installation that's constantly trying to set it up again, something like that.

Hello,
I have compiled a Tvheadend 3.5 that has RTSP support.
If there is a way to use the latest Tvheadend version with RTSP support, I would like to know how.
I will search a solution with your advice.
Thanks

Is tvheadend being started with a systemd startup script?
I recently had the same problem on RHEL7, when I killed tvheadend ans started it manually the configuration was saved.
