I need help with my config

Added by Ivan Ballestar over 9 years ago

Hi

I need help with tvheadend configuration.

My computer:
Intel Celeron E3400
3Gb Ram at 800Mhz
SO: Debian Jessie 3.16.0-4-amd64
Capture Device: Pinnacle PCTV 300i, in the tvheadend, appears "Zarlink MT352 DVB-T: DVB-T #0"

LSPCI appears:
03:00.0 Multimedia controller: Philips Semiconductors SAA7134/SAA7135HL Video Broadcast Decoder (rev 01)

TvHeadEnd Build 4.0.5 config Step by Step in my computer:

1. Configuration - DVB Inputs - Networks
Add - DVB-T: "Prueba" Marked options: Network discovery, Service ID's as Channel Numbers, Ignore provider's Channel Numbers
Pre-defined Muxes - Spain: es-Zaragoza
Character Set: AUTO

2. Configuration - DVB Inputs - TV Adapters
Double clic on the card and edit this settings:
Networks: Select the created network
Save.

3. Configuration - DVB Inputs - Muxes
Create new mux with the parameters of the new range of TDT:

Scan Status - IDLE
AC-3 Detection - Standard
Frecuency (Hz): 738000000
From Bandwidth to FEC Low: AUTO
PLP ID: -1 (From default)
Character set: AUTO

After scan, the result is always the same:
Scan Result: FAIL

LOG of scan
2015-07-16 13:10:40.002 subscription: 00BC: "scan" subscribing to mux "738MHz", weight: 5, adapter: "Zarlink MT352 DVB-T : DVB-T #0", network: "prueba", service: "Raw PID Subscription"
2015-07-16 13:10:45.000 mpegts: 738MHz in prueba - scan no data, failed
2015-07-16 13:10:45.000 subscription: 00BC: "scan" unsubscribing
comet failure [e=Cannot set property 'innerHTML' of undefined]

I need help with this.

Other problems:

1. In the config, i can see the Spanish; Castilian in the Language Settings, but if i change it to Spanish, it does not work, that is, still in English.
Log Out after change the language, logIn pop-up appears, type my credentials, and i see that the program tells me that they are false.
RELOAD chrome and then, yes, i can log into the page, but in English.
Go to Configuration - General and i can see in the Default Language, Spanish is only.

2. How I change the predefined muxes? The files of the muxes, where are they?

Thanks and sorry for the large text and my english.

Try adding a mux exactly & avoid using AUTO, also if your device requires a firmware make sure it's in /lib/firmware.

This is how I would add a mux..

Look up your local transmitter online to find the info required I suspect it won't be much different to the UK!

I'm not sure what else to suggest to be honest, if w_scan is finding muxes then Tvheadend should have no issues finding them, but it could also be a weak signal.

All I can think of is to try another tuner..

Hi another time.

One more datum.

In the old Operative system (Debian Jessie 3.16.0-4-amd64) and in the new (Ubuntu Server 14.04.2 LTS x64), appears the same problem.

In various attempts, the steps are these:

First step: adding the muxes and scan the frequencies, sinc the muxes labeled "tdt" with the card, find the channels.

After, the channels are added to a channel list from "DVB Inputs - Services" mapping all the channels.

I'm going to "Channel/EPG - Channels", mark one channel, and click on the "Play" text for download the M3U file for play with VLC

Ok, at this point, the VLC, at the starts, needs the user and password... How to disable this?

One time written the user and pass, VLC play 5 seconds of stream, freezes the signal and the log of tvheadend shows this:

015-07-24 22:40:12.270 mpegts: 546MHz in tdt - tuning on Zarlink MT352 DVB-T : DVB-T #0

I don't understand.

Format 2 times the server, one with ubuntu server from 0 and the first debian 8 from first.

Codecs?
Ports on the router?
Fail in config?

Thanks
