Picostick 74e used to work, but stopped after installing a Cine S2 card

Added by Levente Cseh about 10 years ago

Hi,

I have two Picostick cards in my server that used to work nice until yesterday...
I purchased a Cine S2 card to get into satellite settings, and after following the guides the Cine S2 tuners appeared in TVH, and the Picosticks disappeared.

Can anyone please point out what do I have to recover? I don't quite understand what's wrong in this dmesg output..

The immediate question has to be 'what guides - how did you install the Cine S2?'. My guess would be that installing the Cine S2 has over-written something the Picosticks needed (TBS were famous for doing this), but I've no idea what...

Okay, I gave it a try on the other server, and it seems the Picosticks disappear right after installing the v4l package. v4L is required, otherwise the Cine S2 is not visible.

So The question now is:
How to recover the Picostick drivers after v4L installation?
