EPG not populated?

Added by David Brown over 10 years ago

I'm using 3.4~wheezy on a Raspberry Pi. As far as I can see the tuner is set up correctly, multiplexes present, channels are mapped but nothing is showing up in the EPG after several hours. The epg grabber has freeview ticked but no EPG.

No tuner detected - it's dissapeared! Probs me playing with things too much.

Assuming you get your tuner back - can you lock onto any channel (stream via VLC or similar)? If you can get the channels then you should get the EPG... the lack of the latter means we'd need to test the former... the fact that your tuner then disappeared might be related.

If you can get a channel, I'd test one channel from each mux and see if it's a failure of something specific. And if you still don't get the EPG... well, there's always xmltv instead...!Channel 4 HD

Sorry - me being a pratt. In reinstalling stuff on my Pi I have been backing up in stages so I can go back to a previous image if things went pear shaped when I installed something new. In going back to a previous image I may have lost stuff I installed later, so I've reinstalled the firmware and TVHE and everything is now up and running. No more tinkering from now on :)
