I'm running build 4.3-1292~g9b9ee6859~bionic on Ubuntu Server 18.04.1 Bionic.
It process just loops:

Hello,

I've added some more details in my first post.
I still hope that someone can help since the hardware wasn't cheap.

Regards,
Lars

with version of DD module you use

Software not hardware.

I'm sorry but I'm not sure what you mean by DD then. The drivers should be in the kernel since 4.14 (https://www.digital-devices.eu/shop/en/custom/index/sCustom/102). I'm running 4.15.0-32-generic.

lets make simple test:
stop tvheadend service
using gnutv -cammenu do you have access to CAM

p.s.
Modul is CI or CI+

I've stopped the service and ran the command (after installing dvb-apps) but there is nothing displayed in the terminal. The command is running (had to ctrl+c to exit it) but again noting is displayed.
It's a CI module.

Model of CI Module?

RE: Hardware CAM startup/init loops - Added by Lars Rasmussen about 6 years ago

It's a Neotion PRD-MCV3-4010. I have attached some pictures of it.

Until someone confirm it is supported (cam module)
why not use regular card reader + oscam

My parents also got TV from the same provider (Boxer TV) and i discovered that one of their TVs got a CAM in it from another manufacturer. I've lent it and it works :) They agreed to swap mine with theirs.

Thank you for your help @saen arco
