Well this is strange. Open configuration GUI undo and redo any checkbox and save the configuration and it now acts as anticipated. Bob Lightfoot

Is it just my system? I just built and upgraded 3.9.2709 to 4.1.52 and now all recordings end up in /video/recordings instead of /video/recordings/ProgramName as they did in 3.9.2709. I cannot find any change in configuration thru gui ... Bob Lightfoot

Found it Kodi-15.0a1-Isengard with tvheadend gives ASTC CC subtitles. You need to enable them under System-Video and then enable them for the channel you're watching. But they work. Topic closed answer found. Thanks to team kodi. Bob Lightfoot

I know that the output of my OTA tuner cards {Hauppage 1650 & 1800} includes the OTA subtitle because in mythtv I had subtitles. Yet when I look at the ts streams with ffmpeg there are no subtitles. And they aren't there in kodi either... Bob Lightfoot

IF memory serves rpmfusion-rawhide should be F22. You might try the rpmfusion-rawhide for libav. Bob Lightfoot

turns out 3.9.2618 has a significant bug and will not scan for unconfigured services. works fine for an existing configuration, but for a new install not so much. Thankfully jaroslav and company caught this and had a quick fix out. I'... Bob Lightfoot

OK with some updates merged today by Jaroslav -- I was able to produce a run of redhat rpm which use the standard versioning that the debian / git files also do.
These rpm are not signed, but the centos one is in use on my hp pavillio... Bob Lightfoot
