TVHGuide¶

This is the official Tvheadend Android application. Written by John Tornblom it allows you to control your Tvheadend server and also stream+ the content to your phone.

+ Note: that some phones may struggle to playback higher bitrate streams. John maintains a fork of tvheadend that includes a branch with transcoding support. This can be used to re-encode the video to a lower bitrate to playback on mobile devices. Hopefully one day we'll get this merged into Tvheadend proper.
