Tvheadend

Hi,

I like the idea of a start after the start time has already passed. Especially with additional padding at the start there is a chance still everything can be recorded.

To append for me seems difficult in case you want a seamless recording. To have this the keyframe (I-Frame) has to be found which is matching the point where the previous record stopped.
Beside that a concatenation onto the previous recording should be no problem. The trick is that the software has to determine which is the previous recording. So i would offload this into a script where you have more control of the workflow and let tvheadend know what it’s good at.
