Tvheadend

Buster isn't actually released yet, however I'll put in a request to have buster added as a target to doozer.io on armhf. I'll also set-up a local builder on a Pi when I get the chance (and upload the armhf packages here)

Please bump this issue in a few days if I haven't replied.

Ran stable on latest raspianbuster on pi3b+ with USB-DVB-T2
(Linux h3 4.19.50-v7+ #896 SMP armv7l GNU/Linux)
There were unsatisfieds reported which I manually installed + "apt --fix-broken install"
Seems to work ok - but I have not really used it under stress

(Linux h3 4.19.50-v7+ #896 SMP armv7l GNU/Linux - also)

Seems to work - but I cannot really use it because:
Finds all muxes (except last 37) and all services (real fast!) but only Sky Bouquets
i.e No Freesat Bouquets
I have tried at length all the old tricks to deliver them - but no luck.
Looks to me like even with OTA UK Freesat & OTA Freesat (EIT) enabled,
it only uses the slow epg and not the high speed epg
Same on all 3 Freesat home Txprs.

is now fully working for 4 days no hiccups.

Configuration:
Pi4b 4GB raspian lite, headless
with no special cooling,
with on board full gigabit ethernet eth0 used for normal normal LAN e.g. NAS for storage, Kodi clients, etc.
Full gigabit adapter eth1 on USB3 with own private subnet dedicated to satip traffic
(single direct point to point RJ45 to 8 a tuner sat>ip server for satip traffic)

I have switched from osmc to LibreElec which seems more responsive and stable at present.

Now very usable. Thanks to all.

New unstable build and moved the files to disroot.org for better uptime!

I don't know why its so hard to make official arm builds, btw, its easy to build it ;-)

There are official arm builds, so it's not hard. For Buster-support you would have to make sure that our buildsystem at doozer.io supports it, sadly that is still not the case after a year of waiting so buster support has been removed again from the repo.

Why you need this, when can be build on device directly?

Nihil Baxter - can I just check, then, that your latest builds would work on my machine (i.e. an Odroid HC2, running Openmediavault 5 (which is based upon Debian Buster))?

Should work, for me builds are running fine on odroid hc1 and armbian buster.

Hey, i uploaded latest build minutes ago, its running fine here.
I just install with dpkg -i , nothing more. But as seen in your other post it seems you have some missing dependencies. Maybe its because i compiled with newer multimedia packages, so just look here:
http://deb-multimedia.org . You should put the right repo in your apt sources and do an apt-upgrade, that should work.

Do I simply need to add

deb http://www.deb-multimedia.org buster main non-free

to /etc/apt/sources.list

and that is literally all I have to do?

Bit late, sry ;-) But yes, that should work. Or you use some local mirror. Btw, i have buster-backports enabled too, but i don't think its absolutely needed.

Hi Nihili - unfortunately, I never did get it working.

I tried all sorts of things and ended up adding all sort of extra repositories and files but my system kept complaining that either things were missing or that certain things were installed that were of the wrong version.

For some reason, despite having similar setups, mine is different enough to not be able to use your newer builds.

To be honest, TVH on my system is very stable at the moment so it is not the end of the end of the world.

Yes, i see i have higher libpcre3, coming from newer php (deb https://packages.sury.org/php/ buster main). Thats why its better do build on own device, to be sure that all packages match ;-)

I will update my devices to bullseye some time, but that will take time as that normally makes more problems than benefits ;-)
Btw, its quite easy to do your own builds, its just a little bit copy/paste.
