I saw that 4.3 had incorporated that patch and thought it would also be in
4.2.x which seems to have taken a while to get updated into osmc (for instance).
4.2.8 came out and I didnt see mention in the changes and dont see it migrated from
master into 4.2. Is/was there a reason?.
I did a trial build after patching and it seems to work fine however
I was trying to avoid causing myself a maintainability nightmare and was waiting
for its global acceptance.
It makes setting up an hdhomerun much easier.
Is there a 4.2.8+ in the works and if so could it include this commit?.
