I setup a tvheadend (4.2.7) server on a Raspberrypi 3 B+ using a USB tuner Nooelec R820T. When I connect the server through a Chrome Browser on a Windows 7 PC I can get the picture of the selected TV channel, but after a few seconds the picture in freezing and restarting continously and finaly it get blocked.
How can I solve the problem?

You are in fact transcoding, going from your log. And it would appear you're using the Watch TV to view the channels. Is this plain Raspbian with tvheadend installed via apt.tvheadend.org or Libreelec?

The version from apt.tvheadend.org doesn't have transcoding enabled for the Pi. The good news is it is actually possible to do hardware transcoding on the Pi with 4.2.7, but you have to build it yourself or install packages with it enabled. If you would like I can upload the version I use on my Pi for you to test.

Note, you'll need the mpeg2 license for the Pi for hardware transcoding of mpeg2

Try:
On Point 2, remove libav-dev and add gettext:

make -j2

If it builds without errors, then you can run it as described in point 4.

The transcoding is setup on the "Configuration->Streams".

First create a codec profile that uses the pi hardware transcode (omx).
Then assign the codec profile to a stream profile (on the "Stream Profile" config tab).

OK so using my 4.2.7 build it'll only do mpeg2 to h264 but it WON'T do h264 -> h264.

@Leonardo: You may have to use the "copy" option for audio.

but freezing and short interruptions are still there even if reduced in the duration and frequency.

I have some more doubts on the "container" to be used on the stream.

I have no idea why, because on another setup (LE+TvH-Plugin) the pi transcodes the SAME DVBS mux stream fine!

your options are:
-use LibreElec
-use another Tuner
-use DVBT because thats what Mark uses
-use TvH 4.3 with the spawn profile and ffmpeg (results in a wrong AR for me :/)
-fix the TvH source for this error

It won't work with this stream, I tried a LOT of different things.
including ffmpeg 4.x, tvh 2.4.6, jessie and whatnot.

you won't get rid of the freezing every few seconds and the pi hangs up after some time no matter which container.
it's as if this particular setup either just doesn't use OMX the right way, or the MMAL part for decoding is not working (stuttering because of soft-MPG2 decode)...

Are the channels encrypted? Decryption also takes a lot of cpu power on a PI.
The rpi1 can't even decrypt a single HD channel - not sure how many the rpi3 can descrypt (+transcoding - even being hw transcoding).

No encrypted channels have been mapped, neither viewed.
Only DVB-T channels and no HD.

CPU loaded 35%

It doesn't matter if encrypted or not,
it's the same behaviour with too much queued table input data unfortunately :/

Problem solved !!

I downoaded TVheadend 4.2 on a SD card flashed with LibreELEC and configuraed a transcoder in a very easy way . It's working well, so I concluded that the hardware transcoder in Rasperrypi with rasbian stretch is not working properly (I don't know why). In LibreELEC it does !

problem solved only with Chrome. With IE I got this error message:
The video could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported.
I suppose it's the format.
