Mmm, i got the superuser data prompt even with build 1593 and all latest builds....
Yep, still the issue. My system does not even start now. Had to downgrade to 1567 where it works fine.

It should not affect starting of tvheadend, that might be something else.
OK I've done tests on my cosmic machine. The only time I get the prompt is after a purge, not any other time since installing 1593.
It's to be expected to see it at least once from 4.3-1589 (a9d4ec1df0d065d9f5385e4bab8c0694719a50e0) but not afterwards.
Fresh install of 1589 -> 1593 (standard upgrade) no prompts.
@Mark Hunting Clarkstone - You are right, it does not ask superuser password now, but I still get pink screen (package config) and afterwards it is asking what I want to do with my configuration file. If I select "N" to keep my config than Tvh never starts again. If I start it manually than it is just blank tvh with all my settings lost. This wasn't happening till 1567.

OK, upgrade from 1593 to 1594 works without prompt, but i had to restart tvheadend 2 times, then it seems to work.

Could you view the diff and post here? I bet it's just the Tvheadend case changes I made. I would KEEP your version especially if you've modified it, otherwise accept the changes.
