Bug #5281
TVHeadend does not recover from RTSP error -5
0%
Description
After switching from Tvh 4.1.1~g566406b on wheezy to first 4.3 and now 4.2.6-74~gde40c2892 on Stretch I'm having Problems with aborted recordings due to
RTSP error -5 (Input/output error) [9874-200]
subscription: 00A0: service instance is bad, reason: Tuning failed
This didn't happen with 4.1.1 on Wheezy.
Unluckily I can't easily check if it is still OK on wheezy beacause the wheezy SD card is borked due to excessive use.
My setup runs on a cubox 4x4 and uses an Inverto IDLI-8CHE20 IP LNB
TVH has been built from source from the v4.2.7 tag with the following options:
--disable-bintray_cache
--disable-hdhomerun_static
--disable-ffmpeg_static
--disable-libvpx-static
--disable-libav

Actually I should say stalled recordings, because the subscription stays there in "bad" state until i manually stop it. It even stays when the record end time is reached.

- Status changed from New to Invalid
Configure the behaviour in the streaming profiles - check 'restart on error'.

I'm using about TVHeadend as client for the IP LNB, not as a server. Aren't streaming profiles for TVHeadend as server?
