Bug #5226
EPG capture from UK Freesat (Astra 29.2E) broken
0%
Description
I'm running TVheadend on a Raspberry Pi 2 receiving UK Freesat. The Freesat system has a dedicated multiplex for EPG, so instead of scanning all available muxes with the EPG grabber I use the "Mux Scheduler" to tune to 11425H every 24 hours, which brings in the full EPG in a few seconds.
The last known working version was 4.3-1292~g9b9ee6859-dirty. With version 4.3-1361~ge1c03470d-dirty and the current master 4.3.1387, tuning to the EPG mux has no effect.
(A separate system is running 4.3-1361~ge1c03470d-dirty on UK Freeview DVB-T with no problems.)

I'm running 1388 and I've just tried to reproduce this.
I've disabled ALL grabbers but UK Freesat, deleted the epgdb.* file and restarted, it's pulling in the Freesat EPG fine. Although I'm using the original Freesat home transponder 11428 instead of 11425.
Scrap the above, turns out the UI refreshed during a save so Sky UK was still enabled! Will try again! Sorry about that.

As soon as I'd finished editing my last post, redoing it all over again, and making sure that JUST UK Freesat was active, bang EPG grid full. so It is indeed working as expected here.
- Separate post because cloudflare cache screws up editing posts for a second time!

Apologies. I've been bouncing TVH versions backwards and forwards over the last few days chasing another problem, and I think I've corrupted my configuration. There now seem to be two entries for each mux; one works the other doesn't.
Please close this. Sorry about the noise...
