Description

I had to moved my tvheadend server to a new machine therefore I had to reinstalled T headend.
Unfortunately I did not find a way to import the old TV recordings.

Is it somehow possible?

Yes.

Just copy the contents of your old recordings directory to the new one
as well as
the contents of your dvr/log directory (inside TVh config directory)

You might have to adjust the recordings' paths inside all files in dvr/log, if the old and new recordings directory path differ, or just place a symlink.

Thanks for the feedback!

Unfortunately I am on Synology and I am not able to find the right folder. Somehow the Synology build come up with a very special setup.
I found something similar looking under
'volume1/@appstore/tvheadend/var/log' but was not able to open it due some rights limitation.

I finally found the folder but gave up because it is too much of a hassle.
But thanks anyway!
