Description

My EPG data dissipated after I updated to 4.2.5-41~gd42706d. This happened even when I updated to 4.3, that`s why I downgraded to 4.2 and it worked till 4.2.5-41~gd42706d. I did a map all of the channels. but no Program Guide appears, and it worked perfectly!

Why DVB-C and DVB-T front-end on same tuner is active?

they are not, but they look green, could be a bug. I rebooted the server, same green light on them. attached the picture.

I had a similar problem recently but resolved quickly with a "force scan" on the networks.

Yep. NZ off-the-air EPG failed for me on upgrade as well a few weeks back while running Jessie Unstable.

I ended up moving tvheadend to another machine and installing the stable version on it (stretch stable-4.2).

But the latest upgrade to THAT (going from 4.2.5-41~gd42706d08 to 4.2.5-43~ga2fab13ad) has seen tvheadend fail to restart due to the data backup failing - some file permission appear to have changed?

There are no EPG related changes after v4.2.5-41-gd42706d08 ...

it seems if i delete /home/hts and reinstall tvheadend, 4.2 or 4.3 any version, everything works ok. I think the problem has something to do with the permissions when tvheadend is updated....
