Description

We always have the issue that broadcasters may not always keep time correctly. The feature is to set an extended timeout on a channel when there is no issue continuing to record. So if channel 5 is recording and does not have a following record, then we would add x mins to the end record time. Here is the current issue. If you set 5 min as the add to the end as default and there is a follow on record with no tuners left, the follow on recording will be skipped. If you set 0 min as the default and no follow on happens, then you may miss the last few seconds of the show. With the extended timeout, the end of the show would still record somewhere.

My current work around is to set times starting at 7pm to LOW priority, 8pm to MEDIUM priority and 9pm to HIGH priority. So if there is a follow on show, the previous one get bumped, but the follow on show has any recording overlap. This is something we struggled even with Dish.
