Description

OTA EPG does not read any data for Fritz-devices (AVM DVB-C repeater):

2016-11-01 13:20:25.473 mpegts: 610MHz in KD - tuning on SAT>IP DVB-C Tuner #1 (192.168.1.139)
2016-11-01 13:20:25.474 subscription: 09AC: "epggrab" subscribing to mux "610MHz", weight: 4, adapter: "SAT>IP DVB-C Tuner #1 (192.168.1.139)", network: "KD", service: "Raw PID Subscription"
2016-11-01 13:20:25.491 satip: SAT>IP DVB-C Tuner #1 (192.168.1.139) - RTSP cmd error 7 (Unknown error -7) [8-500]
2016-11-01 13:24:36.476 subscription: 09BA: "epggrab" unsubscribing

When opening a stream in VLC via tvheadend, the EPG data is readable. A few month ago the OTA EPG worked for the device - maybe the method of subscribing to a channel changed in the grabber?

Follow up: If I tune in by hand to all the channels using VLC, tvheadend appears to extract the EPG data and store it. However, automatic grabs using the OTA grabber fail.

This device requires a special setup. If you like to use all tuners, you must make connection from different IP addresses in tvh.

Hello Jaroslav,

I am aware of the workarounds required (I wrote a tutorial for setting up the device in the forums).

Receiving two simultaneous streams from the device is working fine, but the way the grabber accesses the tuner appears to have changed.

For testing I also tried to allow the grabber on only a single tuner. However, it also did not work.

I am not aware of any change which may affect this. Provide '--trace satip, httpc' . https://tvheadend.org/projects/tvheadend/wiki/Traces

Did you upgrade the firmware?

Yes, the firmware has been updated to version 06.51.

Please find the log attached to this post.

The log shows an attempted EPG scan, and also a subscription from VLC to radio/TV.

Could you retest with v4.1-2308-g203af79 ?

The bug appears to be fixed in v4.1-2308-g203af79, so far the EPG is updating without errors.

Thank you very much!
