Bug #3844
Bug #3824: EPG-Grabber page is nog being saved.when changed.
EPG Grabber page is not saved
0%
Description
No matter what I change on the EPG Grab page it is not saved.
I stumbled upon this because I wanted to use the "Internal Grabber". So I changed the module but the change did not stick after saving and restart of TVH. So I discovered that other changes on this page also do not stick.
All other pages are always correctly saved. I attached a smal screen video showing it. What am I doing wrong or is it a bug?

You already reported that in #3824. Unfortunately, 4.0 is a bit dead for me, but I accept any patches :-)

In other words "exit TVH", "no support".
4.0 is the latest available on Synology and 4.2 is there marked as "for testing". And as making patches myself. That is absolutely not my intention.
A bit disappointed (I have put quite a lot of hours into this getting to work.) because to me this must be a bug somehow (unless I am doing something wrong, but somebody should then tell we what I am doing wrong) and I don't understand that nobody else has this problem.

This appears to be an issue your end, I have 4.0.9-4 on my armel box running Debian and changing the epg grabber page, saving, reloading and viewing on several PCs is working as expected.. Looks like a permissions issue? If you're able to modify the start up script, you can easily test this by adding "-c /tmp" to tvheadends argument list.
You also may want to ask the person who created the package for the syno for assistance.
