timeshifs as anonymous recording

Hi
At home I use various Kodi clients using a common server with 3 usb DVB devices.
I would like to be able to use the timeshift buffer from any client. That is pause the recording from the kitchen Kodi and resume it from the bedroom one. I don't think this is currently possible as the timeshift buffer is not visible.
Also I would like to be able to use the buffer in case I decide to record a program in the middle, using the buffer might let me record from the beginning of the program. This might be possible already but I have just started playing with the timeshift functionality (it did not seem that stable until now)

How come this request got no feedback? Is it because it's already implemented? Or was it totally unclear?

It's clear and it's a very much wanted feature by a few of us but the developers are (very) busy and it's going to take some time.
