Description

I'm doing imaging tests with VLC vs HTSP tvheadend client in low resolutions. HTSP tvh client has a lot of pixels in rapid image changes vs vlc always has a clean image with a minimum of pixels. I use more htps tvh client but the image quality is terrible compared to VLC and other players. I say this as constructive criticism in future may improve image quality.

??? Which HTSP client do you mean? Anyway, you should report this to the client developers. TVH always passes an identical stream to the clients.

you can make yur own test htsp tvh client vs vlc both with deinterlace on with any of this links

tvh is just the backend, so if you don't transcode, the original elementary streams are forwarded unchanged. Whatever tvh htsp client you are refering to, it is not maintained here.

who is responsible for htsp tvh client kodi media center or tvh?

maby there is a problem
are you compile TVH or use debian repo

i solve the problem i was used kodi 15.2 the image is terrible. In kodi 16.4 jarvis works great.
