Tvheadend

I was trying to quickly implement some personal requirements (add information like imdb rating as rating of Epg and other stuff that I'm not sure it could go in tvheadend) using an external script. I discovered that this is actually impossible with the HTTP methods. Epg looks not managed by idnode system. Nothing to write to Epg database. Is epg going to be migrate to idnode? If the answer is no (performance!?), could you add an api to add/modify epg records.
