Bug #1914
"TechniSat CableStar Combo HD CI" is recognized as DVB-S not as DVB-T / DVB-C Adapter
0%
Description
Hello TVHeadend,
i'am using a raspberry pi with raspbmc. With one of the last updates the driver for my "TechniSat CableStar Combo HD CI" was included and with w_scan I will get all channels. So drivers worked correctly. But TVHeadend will recognize the "TechniSat CableStar Combo HD CI" as a DVB-S Adapter. That is wrong an I can't get any channels.
With Version 3.4~ dirty (shipped out with) raspbmc i could only select DVB-S configurations.
I Updated to Build: 3.9.316~g238636f with your TV adapter changes. But the Network dropdown is empty and it seems, that my "TechniSat CableStar Combo HD CI" will be recognized as DVB-S Adapter again.
Can you please check why the "TechniSat CableStar Combo HD CI" will be recognized as a DVB-S Adapter and not as DVB-T / DVB-C Adapter?
Thank you very much
Chris

Some Addition to the 3.9.316~g238636f build:
When I add a DVB-S Network I can select it at the TV Adapter section -> Network. So this works correct.
It seems like expected, the dvb adapter will be recognized as a DVB-S Adapter and not as a DVB-T / DVB-C Adapter.
Hope that helps to find the bug! If you need more information please tell me. I will be happy for every hint
Thanks a lot!

- Status changed from New to Fixed
I have updated the adapter handling. AS long as the device is properly registered by the driver this shoudl now work.

Worked perfect. Both Adapter were found.
But when I do the first scan I got the same error like here:
