Description

2013-11-22 08:32:12.680 mpegts: 11261H - starting for 'initscan' (weight 1)
2013-11-22 08:32:12.680 mpegts: 11261H - tuning on /dev/dvb/adapter1/frontend0
2013-11-22 08:32:13.040 subscription: 'initscan' subscribing to mux, weight: 1, adapter: '/dev/dvb/adapter1/frontend0', network: 'Thor', mux: '11261H'
2013-11-22 08:32:42.000 mpegts: 11261H - initial scan timed out
2013-11-22 08:32:42.000 mpegts: 11261H - initial scan complete
2013-11-22 08:32:42.000 subscription: "initscan" unsubscribing

This worked in earlier versions, I have also noticed that Orginal Network ID and Transport Stream ID is 65535. ~35% transponders on thor/sirius has the same issue for me.

How did you generate the muxes?

Hello,

I have the same problem and I choose "Pre-configured network (set of muxes)" from the drop down menu.

The same problem exists in the previous version 3.5.726-g4b3c1dc3. These are the versions I've tested as DVB rewrite get merged, so most likely this problem has arisen in connection with the introduction of DVB rewrite.

Same as Mikael, using drop down menus. When i tried to add manually i got this error:
2013-11-22 11:01:26.933 linuxdvb: /dev/dvb/adapter1/frontend0 - failed to tune [e=Invalid argument]
2013-11-22 11:01:26.933 mpegts: 11H - failed to start, try another
2013-11-22 11:01:26.933 mpegts: 11H - initial scan failed (remove mux)

I'm not sure where the name came from 11H?

Updated by Adam Sutton almost 11 years ago

11H is auto-generated, and that tells me you're frequency (and probably your bitrate) are entered incorrectly. Try adding 000 to them (I'll check see if the UI units are labelled wrong).

As for the auto mux lists, there was a bug, which I thought was fixed. Worth double checking what it's entered for a mux manually. (Just go to mux tab select and hit edit).

:D
When I corrected the mux information I got the same problem as before:
2013-11-22 13:00:22.282 subscription: 'initscan' subscribing to mux, weight: 1, adapter: '/dev/dvb/adapter1/frontend0', network: 'Thor', mux: '11261H'
2013-11-22 13:00:51.000 mpegts: 11261H - initial scan timed out
2013-11-22 13:00:51.000 mpegts: 11261H - initial scan complete
2013-11-22 13:00:51.000 subscription: "initscan" unsubscribing

Is it possible to get more debug output?

#6

Updated by Larry Fluff almost 11 years ago

I guess it could be diseqc related problem. I removed all muxes, added thor as predefined proxy on diseqc B and got a lot of Sirius services.

#7

Updated by Mikael Persson almost 11 years ago

When I look in my list of muxes I see I got a lot of duplicate muxes on different network:

CanalDigital = Thor (Position A:)
Viasat = Sirius (Position B:)

Is it possible to enable some debug outprints that can help to understand whats wrong?

I guess it's related to ticket "#1828". Attatched debug log.

Updated by Mikael Persson almost 11 years ago

Now I have tried to bypass the diseq switch and connect directly to the LNB and now it was no problem finding services on all muxes, so it seems to be a problem with diseq code.
