Description

Odd one here - when viewing the status screen the individual subscriptions all show the bandwidth, but the tuners themselves don't all show it.

!TV Headend Usage.png!

The tuners are:-
Terrestrial (Tuner 1) - MSI Digivox - dvb-usb-vp7045
Terrestrial (Tuner 2 / 3) - KWorld UB499-2T Dual tuner - dvb-usb-it913x - Showing no bandwidth
Terrestrial (Tuner 4) - PCTV 290e DVB-T2 - em28xx-dvb - only one showing SNR
Terrestrial (Tuner 5) - Some unbranded Chinese stick Realtek RTL2832 - dvb-usb-rtl28xxu - Showing no bandwidth, and not signal strength
Satellite - Technotrend something or another - dvb-usb-ttusb2

Is this simply down to the drivers not providing the information or is TV Headend doing something odd?

  • Status changed from New to Need feedback

This sounds like an adapter/driver issue. Many do not provide valid information that can be used by TVHeadend and so show 0 in those fields. I believe the bandwidth shown in the 'subscriptions' section is calculated by TVH as this is the streaming data, rather than raw DVB bandwidth.

  • Status changed from Need feedback to Invalid

Relates to code that's been re-written and no longer being actively supported.
