Description

I use XMLTV only EPG grab sources and tvheadend sometimes do not keep the correct xmltv grab sources on channels, i think this happen sometimes when u restart tvheadend.
Please take a look at how channels are mapped to XMLTV grab sources after restarts.

Hi Johan,

I'm a bit confused with the query here. On an individual channel, you have the drop-down box for "EPG Grab Source" set to the correct XMLTV source, yes?
Then after a restart this has changed?

Those mappings are stored in your ~/.hts/tvheadend/epggrab/xmltv/channels/ folder, you could take a backup of that folder, try restarting tvheadend and see if there have been any changes, as those shouldn't change, so I'm suspecting it isn't correctly writing these files. If the files are correct it may be a display bug.

Correct, i noticed this problem after i realized tvheadend recorded the wrong programs, i then saw that the mapping had been swapped between two channels.

I did a bunch of tvheadend restarts now without getting the problem.
One question, is the channel numbers in the files in ~/.hts/tvheadend/epggrab/xmltv/channels/ mapped to the channel numbers i the web gui ? I ask because i have not set those in web gui.

I havent seen the problem after the last few restarts.
I think this only happened early when i was changing channels setup which is a minor problem, you can close this issue.
