Description

As it is now tvheadend will start recieving the stream for a given channel twice if 2 users subscribe to it. Thats ok for dvb adapters the driver will just send the stream twice, but for iptv not so good.

This is not how Tvheadend works, it receives the stream once and then multiplexes it out to as many subscribers as it has.

And...

For DVB adapters (and UDP based IPTV) its not possible to "receive" the stream more than once (i.e. you cannot have multiple independent clients), for Multicast IPTV it is possible, however it will still not be sent to you twice (unless there is faulty/non-conformant equipment that is not properly processing the MC requests, this could include home routers, but unlikely to be at the ISP end).
