Description

I have gone from compiling myself to use your debian package.. but i use to use -C as a option when i start tvheadend like so "/usr/src/tvheadend/build.linux/tvheadend -f -u hts -g video -C".. but this seems not to work i i put that option in /etc/default/tvheadend like this TVH_ARGS="-C".

is this a bug? other options works fine.. like debug=1.

-C will only do something once, its a one time option. It will setup a default account (if one doesn't exist).

It's not really intended for normal operation. If you're trying to remove access control, try --noacl. But that will make the server completely open so make sure it has other protection (i.e. on a private firewalled LAN etc...)

Ohh well Adam you're right..

i have just not had a reason to mess around with access control... i have made a user with webaccess/streaming priv this works to.

thx

Closing as I don't believe this is a bug, just a misunderstanding.
